Give Me 5 Burpees

Great energy with the group on this mild spring morning; many still working out the soreness from out Haka-led PT Testing over the weekend.

Today we mixed in core exercises that will help us all work towards improving our individual results when we test again in 6 weeks:

Warm Up
Side Straddle Hop IC x 15
Cotton Pickers IC x 15
Windmill IC x 15
Merkins OYO x 20
Lunges OYO x 20 (10 each leg)

Mosey to Sunlake
Partner Up – Quarter Mile Runs Down and back to LLR Blvd to Approx the 4th light post and back
3 Sets Per Partner- Push Ups, Squats, Big Boy Sit Ups (plank if gassed); one partner is running approx. a quarter mile per set while the other is exercising.
Plank up once complete

Mosey toward Primrose/Peppergrass
5th light post – Bruce Lee
10th light post – Mucho Chesto
Indian Run Back to LLR Blvd.
30 lunges (15 per leg)
Bruce Lee

Indian Run Back to b-ball courts
30 dips
15 burpees
30 squats
10 howling monkeys
Bruce Lee

Haka owed Endo 5 burpees for leaving him off of PT testing results; Endo made sure to let him know about it (the group had their say also).

We have a great consistent group of men that continue to be leaders with our community and families.

Prayers to the victims and families of the senseless crimes taking place over the course of the last week.
