WARMUP

Before we started, YHC stated that the Good Morning Burpees rule was in effect today. PAX were to say good morning to anyone we passed or anyone that passed by us during the beatdown. If the person responded with a “good morning” in return, then PAX would perform 5 burpees no matter what we were doing. Bonus points if the person did burpees with us.

We performed the following IC

SSH X 10

After about 7 SSH, we delivered our first good morning and we’re returned with a good morning. Stopped doing SSH to knock out 5 Burpees.

Imperial Walkers X 10

Frankensteins X 10

Merkins X 10

All PAX grabbed a line and performed 10 walking lunges (both legs counted as one set) around the circle IC (slow four count)

Quick Mosey to Sun Lake Blvd for

THE THANG

Right before we started the next exercise, we issued another good morning. We got a grunt from the out of breath jogger which sounded close enough to a good morning so we did 5 more burpees.

TOTAL BURPEE COUNT: 10

Route 66

Starting at the first light pole, PAX performed 1 burpee and then ran to the next light pole (towards 54) to perform 2 burpees.  Repeat this along sun lake adding one more burpee at each light post until we got to 11 burpees at the 11th light post. The sum total of all reps would be 66 as per the exicon but since we had more light posts on sunlake, more burpees. Originally, YHC checked a certain maps app (not to be named) and planned for 91 burpees from all 13 light posts but there were 14 light posts. Good news was more burpees for points. Route 66 netted an additional 105 burpees.

TOTAL BURPEE COUNT: 115

Time to make our way back, one light post at a time by combining a Bruce Lee with a 2X Mucho Chesto. Similar to a roasted pig except with running instead of rolling. At each light post, all PAX performed alternating exercises from Bruce Lees and Mucho Chesto, starting with Bruce Lees first (one exercise per light post):

20 Leg Lifts

20 Wide Merkins

20 Dying Cockroaches

20 Diamond Merkins

20 American Hammers

20 Stagger Left Merkins

Stopped at corner of sun lake and long lake ranch to perform 25 Merkins just to mix it up.

Indian Run back to the courts. Great job by all PAX encouraging each other during the Indian run. Stopped a little more than halfway to get ten more burpees.

TOTAL BURPEE COUNT: 125

Mosey back to the courts exactly at 615 but we had 25 more burpees to do in order get a third full set. No one had any issue with overtime, so we all knocked out 25 more for a FINAL BURPEE COUNT of 150

The storm finally hit right as we made it back to the courts. YHC offered to have everyone go to the mailboxes to finish the last 25 burpees but PAX were more than happy to finish in the rain. By the time we finished, the rain actually let up a bit so I’m guessing the burpee gods must have been pleased by our efforts.

Great effort by all PAX once again

All PAX must have been gassed because during the NAME-O-RAMA, multiple PAX struggled to state their given name, age, and F3 name in the right order.
